There's never enough time for it. All of a sudden, it's the third week of October, there are a million or so competing events, movie showings, and parties. And there are only so many Halloween Rocky Horror shows you can see in one month, unless you've the power of time travel. Which I, for one, do not.

Well...if so many of us love that day, why not all enjoy it together? "Because, Jeff", I hear you say, "so many of our favorite promoters, clubs, people, and rituals all have to happen near October 31st."

"Well, then," says I, "Tell you what. YOU do what you want at the end of October. But then, come early December... I hereby declare Halloween! LET ALL OF US COME AND CELEBRATE!"

Trick Or Treat! ~ Yes! That's right! Come and trick-or-treat! Trick-or-treat with our vendors, with select members of staff, and perhaps even some of our performers. Do people tell you you're too old to do it? That it's just for kids? They LIE! Come and trick-or-treat to your heart's content! Bring a big bag, and prepare to have it filled with sweet confectionary goodness!!!

Costume Contest ~ This one's going to happen... we just need your input. What are some great categories? ...possibly some categories that get overlooked at ordinary costume contests? Most Emo Costume? Most Elitist Anime Reference Costume? And you know how, in SOME contests, you get horny judges who vote for something that shouldn't win a category, simply because it's tawdry and oversexed? Well, worry no more! Those costumes can now be entered into categories like Shameless Pandering and Most Likely To Make A Popular Film, TV, Or Comic Book Character Look Like A Hooker! (Pray do keep your costume reasonably modest when not in the main convention area, though. Lest you get us all kicked out of the hotel, which, in December, would just suck.)

Costume Party ~ It's not Halloween without a costume party. Or a giant burning wicker man. But "Costume Party" takes less effort than "Ritual Sacrifice At Stonehenge". Fun music! Fruit punch! And possibly, if you're lucky, more CANDY.

Halloween Movies ~ We're taking suggestions! NO MOVIES ARE CONFIRMED YET... so if you want to see something, let us know! Current ideas include The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, The Worst Witch Ever, The Muppets with Alice Cooper, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Witches, The Halloween Tree, Abbot & Costello Meet Frankenstein.

Pinatas! ~ Pinatas! We'll be raffling off chances to take a whack at our pinyatas. Come forth and take out your agressions on mighty enemies of paper mache! Smash them open and release the goodness within, showering down about you in a rain of sugar! There may even possibly be a Make Your Own Pinyata Contest! Pinyatas! Filled with goodness! Need I say more?

The Rocky Horror Picture Show ~ Halloween is not complete without a HUGE Halloween Rocky Horror Show! Come see Jeff Mach return to his roots in the old Rutgers Rocky Horror Club days, as a stunning cast brings you the Time Warp again!

Zombies ~ I'm sure there won't be a zombie invasion. No, honest. Would I lie to you?
